School physicals are required when your child is entering grammar school, middle school or high school. School physicals will help protect your child from various diseases. They also help identify any chronic medical conditions. Our school physicals include one of our doctors performing a complete physical exam and reviewing your child’s medical history. School physicals are highly recommended if your teenager plans to play any sports.
Sports physicals are recommended to ensure your child is fit to play a sport safely. Our health care providers will review your child’s medical history, then perform a thorough physical exam. Even if your school or park district does not require it, sports physicals will provide an opportunity to discuss any health concerns you may have. Several sports can be very physical. We want to make sure that your child is in the best physical shape to prevent injuries.
Summer Camp Physical
During the summer, children may be asked to have a summer camp physical if they are attending camp or applying to be a camp counselor. Whatever your teenager’s situation, our health care providers can perform a summer camp physical for your child. The camp physical will include a physical exam. We will check for up to date immunizations. One of our healthcare providers will discuss your child’s medical history to see if he or she has allergies or is taking medications. Just bring in the summer camp physical forms you need filled out. We will take care of the rest.
