LaGrange Medical Center and Urgent Care offers 3 types of physicals for our patients – annual physical, school physical and sports physical.
An annual physical can include a physical exam, immunizations, lab tests, and prescriptions. Having an annual physical exam helps your doctor understand your symptoms or diagnose your illness. Something may be going on in your body that only a blood test or a urinalysis can tell.

A school physical is required when your child is entering grammar school, middle school or high school. A physical exam will help protect your child from various diseases. They also help identify any chronic medical conditions. Our school physicals include one of our doctors performing a complete physical exam and reviewing your child’s medical history.

A sports physical is recommended to ensure your child is fit to play a sport safely. Our health care providers will review your child’s medical history, then perform a thorough physical exam. Even if your school or park district does not require it, sports physicals will provide an opportunity to discuss any health concerns you may have. Several sports can be very physical. We want to make sure that your child is in the best physical shape to prevent injuries.
